I met David and Laura 5 years ago and had the pleasure of photographing them to mark their engagement before they eloped. About two months ago David contacted me with the most exciting news, they are expecting their first child!
David and Laura love the outdoors and enjoy walking at their local park everyday after work. We decided this would be the best place to take their photos as not only is it beautiful, but the location is close to home. After taking a few black and white portraits at home, we traveled to the park to catch the afternoon glow.
There is nothing more wonderful than being able to capture significant milestones and watch friends change and grow with love, it’s pretty damn special.
Captured on Mamiya RZ67, 110mm f/2.8 & 180mm f/4.5 using Ilford 3200, Kodak Portra 400 & 800.
