Happy Friday everyone! I had a great time photographing @helenarose.co and her cute little shop today. #Kodak #portra160 in the #holga with a bit of on camera flash here and there - I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out!
June is shaping up to be headshot month! I’ve been shooting some classic medium format black and white and some street-style 35mm - and that’s just the beginning. All my clients are different so why would I photograph them all the same?
Lots going on behind the scenes lately! So here is a little flashback to 2 years ago at the fabulous Photographers’ Gallery in Soho.
Happy Monday everyone! I’ve had a wonderful birthday week/end celebrating with family and friends. Today I am working on blogging and experimenting with double exposures on my holga and super old (IIRC expired in the 70s) film I found in my film stash. Sorry in advance @ikigai.camera 🥺
In case you couldn’t tell, I love all things elderflower. It’s started with the Dryck Fläder elderflower syrup from IKEA and then I realised gin & elderflower cocktails existed everywhere (YES). It’s my favourite botanical - delicate, dainty flowers and a sweet yet tart flavour when made into syrups. A classic for summertime (or any time in Brisbane tbh). When I thought of elderflower during business name brainstorming it was an obvious yes.
A little peek behind the scenes at the content shoot for Crimson Culture and their rebrand by @obscurio.co 🔥
A sweet rose for this stormy Brisbane afternoon.
In 2017 I took my mum’s old 35mm SLR travelling through Seoul and Tokyo and it reignited my love of film. Once I returned home, I began experimenting with my large collection of vintage film cameras.
